Personal information

Our legal basis for processing your personal data

We process your personal data legally. It may happen that the same personal data is processed both on the basis of legal grounds, such as fulfillment of the agreement, or on the basis that the data is necessary to fulfill other legal obligations. This means that even if you revoke your consent and the processing based on the consent ceases, the personal data may still be necessary to save for other purposes where the personal data is still needed. We mainly process your information to fulfill an agreement to which you are part of, for example an order.

Administration of your order

In order to be able to deliver the products you have ordered from us (fulfill the agreement), we use your personal information in various ways. The information is used to issue an order confirmation and to charge for the products you have ordered, and possibly also to book the shipping of your order.

As the ski poles are manufactured privately, Gigger AB is used for invoicing and then their personal data policy applies. If you choose to have your order sent, the shipping takes place through DB Schenker and then their privacy policy applies.

To be able to provide you with customer service

We use your personal information to be able to provide you with service if you contact us with questions or comments. Your name and email are used to identify you and your order. We use your contact information, such as e-mail address and phone number to be able to contact you in connection with questions and matters. We do this in order to fulfill the agreement with you and with the support of our legitimate interest in providing you with good service. We may also use the other information we have collected about you to handle your question depending on what is relevant in the individual case.

Dispatch of information

We do not use personal or contact information for marketing or newsletter e-mailing.

Product development and service

We reserve the right to use the information we collect about our customers to develop and improve our products and services. We do this to fulfill our agreement with you and with the support of our legitimate interest in improving our products and service.

Legal requirements

Finally, the processing of your personal data may also take place in order for us to be able to fulfill obligations under laws and regulations.

Storage times

We never store data longer than we need to and only use your personal data for the purposes set out in this policy. The only information saved is name, e-mail and phone number, together with the information about the ski poles you ordered. This is to be able to help you as a customer with any future repairs or complaints.

As the ski poles are manufactured privately, there is no legal requirement for bookkeeping or store accounting information. In this case that legal requirement lies with Gigger AB.

3. Disclosure of personal data

In order to fulfill your order or answer your question, we may need to share your personal information with our subcontractors and partners, for example questions about the parts of the ski poles. We only share personal information with them if it is necessary for them to be able to provide their services to you and us, and they only get access to the personal information that is necessary for the specific case, for example an address to be able to send a replacement product.

Service providers

Invoicing is done, as previously mentioned, through Gigger AB and any shipping is done by DB Schenker. To fulfill an order, we may share your personal information with these two companies. They are also required by law to protect your personal information.

4. Your privacy rights

Necessary handling of personal data and handling with the support of consent

The processing of personal data that is necessary for us to be able to fulfill an agreement with you or for us to be able to fulfill a legal obligation is permitted without consent. In order for us to be able to collect and handle your personal data for any other purpose, however, you must consent to the processing.

Revoke consent

You can choose to revoke your consent at any time by contacting us. If you revoke your consent, we will delete your personal data but retain non-personal information, and terminate the processing covered by the consent.

In cases where the ordered product has been invoiced via Gigger AB or sent via DB Schenker, and you want to revoke your consents with them, you must contact them.

The right to receive information about what personal information we have stored about you

You have the right to receive a copy of the personal information we have about you. For example, the information you have provided in the order form.

The right to control your personal data

You have the right to request that the information we have about you is deleted, supplemented, or corrected. You also have the right to request that the processing of your personal data is limited to certain purposes, such as your order, and not to be used for marketing or direct advertising (as mentioned above, we do not work with client information for marketing or advertising).
